When the inevitable attacks to your leadership happen or the next chapter seems too distant, we will help you weather the storm and give you the support you need for better weather and greater outcomes.
You can’t get out of your Comfort Zone if you don’t know you’re in one.
You can’t get out of your Comfort Zone if you don’t know you’re in one.
Do you want to be part of the 98% who do the minimum and just get by – or do you want to be in the elite group of 2% who got out of the box and truly did something significant?
One of our favorite exercises, something we have done hundreds of times with people across a full spectrum of businesses – is a protocol called Zones of Comfort. We love that exercise because it is a quick demonstration of how too many people stay in their comfort zone and thus limit their future. It’s only when you move into your Stretch Zone, when you stretch out of your routines, feeling a little uncomfortable, and make a decision to grow, that you truly move forward to what you really want.

Meet Jerry Holtgren
Jerry Holtgren is a Christian educator who specializes in helping others implement a project-based learning environment in their school. Currently, he is the director of a nationally recognized school program; a program that serves as a training site for the New Tech Network and for school districts around the country. Having started an innovative school himself, he understands the challenges associated with doing so, and more importantly, has a knowledge of the success criteria needed to maintain such an environment. Over his career, he has served as a teacher, coach, mentor, media specialist, and administrator. Jerry holds three college degrees along with certifications in administration, professional learning communities, and project-based learning (Pbl).
In the last decade, Jerry has been a champion for learner-centered instructional practices. Beyond his role as director, Jerry has trained hundreds of educators in project-based learning for both the New Tech Network and regional school districts. He has presented to the Michigan Senate Committee on Education on two occasions, showcased his school’s “brand” of Pbl and school culture at the Top 10 in 10 Roadshow hosted by the Michigan Department of Education, and served as a council member of the MiSTEM initiative. His most rewarding professional work, however, is that of a servant leader where he encourages the efforts of his facilitators and the schools he supports. Jerry is married and has three daughters.
God is in the résumé-building business. He is always using past experiences to prepare us for future opportunities.

It takes a deliberate decision to learn what needs to be learned – and unlearn what needs to be unlearned.
